Today was a LONG time coming. Today is beginning of a helluva lot of hard work. Obama is walking into the fire to say the very least. He has a long road to travel. He has the entire race on his shoulders. His presidency can throw open doors or close them shut for a long time. Obama can succeed. For the hopes and dreams of little black girls and little black boys, Obama will succeed!

- I identify myself by a number of labels...woman, wife, sister, daughter, "hope to be mother", Cal grad "roll on ye bears", financial analyst, african american, athlete...but I recently came to realize that there is another label that I apply to myself... I am an addict! I actually have two addictions. I don't know how it happened but it did. I don't know why it happened but it did. Addiction #1 - Everything Football...I've actually been whooped by this addiction for a number of years...the first time I strapped on a helmet and pads I discovererd that football ain't just for man, husband, son, father...it is absolutely beautiful seeing women lay some wood. Addiction #2 - Everything Crossfit...talk about being whooped! There is something to this Crossfit thing. (Not an affiliate just an enthusiast.)

Decided to postpone 30 day goat challenge...feeling really deconditioned...strength levels dastrically reduced post surgery...this is going to be a long road
